updates po mga sirs as per the meeting held yesterday in Andoks Trinoma....
this message came from Ojie Santilla, OB's team president
Teams! Based on the Pre-Event meeting held on April 2, 2008, please refer to the ff: Attending Teams SOCOM – represented Teams MOBYDX and SD as well K9 – represtend their Alpha & Bravo squads HORAC – represented their Alpha & Bravo squads TFR Apache HEAT STAG Team Semper Fi, Delta Force and F1 sent an SMS earlier in the day informing us of their non-attendance due to their own respective reasons. Teams Sun Squad and MFR were not able to send their representatives to the meeting. At any rate, the following were discussed: Event Programme will be as follows: 0600-0700 Registration & Team Set-up 0700-0800 Chrono & Tagging 0800-1200 Games 1200-1300 Lunch Break, Raffle, Distribution of Give-aways 1300-1500 Games 1500-1530 Break, Raffle 1530-1630 Games 1630-1700 Break, Raffle 1700-1800 Finals, Awarding, Fellowship
This schedule will be strictly followed. Games will start at exactly 0800 hours. All teams are requested to comply with the schedule. Non-compliance will result to repercusions. Event Venue All teams are requested to be on the game site prior to the Registration time of 0600 hours. A designated UNLOADING area is provided for all teams to unload all their gears and stuff. All teams coming to the site with their respective transportation are compelled to unload all passengers including their gears and stuff at this designated area. All vehicles will then be prompted to proceed to the parking area as per the event venue layout sent to you. Participants and/or guests should then proceed to the team tents area immediately after unloading/disembarking from their vehicles. All teams are requested to bring their own tents. Team tent areas will be on a first come, first served basis. Chrono of all AEGs/ACMs will be done at the designated area marked in the event venue map. All teams are requested to have their AEGs/ACMs chronoed as soon as they have set-up their area. Teams do not have to wait for their names to be called for chrono. All teams should proceed to the chrono area at any time. All AEGs/ACMs will be tagged as per the FPS limit set for the event. Event organizers will mark all participating players with distinguishing mark/label during the registration period (i.e. 0600-0700 hours). Event organizers will check the veracity of a team’s lineup and will confirm the same via a tag to be placed on the wrist of registered players. Any conflict between the submitted registration form and the identity of players will be resolved immediately. All teams are requested to be at the event venue way before their scheduled game time. Any team that will come in late or beyond the 5 minute leeway will be defaulted in favor of the scheduled opposing team. Amendments to the game rules and mechanics are as follows: AMENDMENT 1.0 I. Amendment to Item II.a of ANNEX A.: This particular amendment will supersede the original text All teams will start with zero (0) points in each game. Five (5) points will be awarded to the team for each player that said team will eliminate/“hit” from the opposing force/team. At the end of the game (either through expiration of the 8-minute game time or when a team successfully planted AND diffused a bomb), the number of “hit” or eliminated players will be counted and corresponding points will be awarded to the teams (e.g. Team A eliminated 6 players from Team B, Team A then earns 30 points). II. Amendment to Item II.d of ANNEX A This particular amendment will supersede the original text Bomb successfully planted AND diffused in the color coded designated area will be awarded the corresponding points – BLUE = 75 points and RED = 150 points. No points will be awarded if the bomb has not been planted AND diffused by either team when game time expires.
Two sets of draws were conducted. The first draw was for the purpose of determining which teams will draw first, second and so forth, for the team slots. The second draw will determine which will be team number 1, team number 2 and so forth. Team OB elders drew the slots for non-attendng teams. Results after the draws are the following: Bracket A Team 1: Marine Force Recon Team Team 2: Task Force Ranger Team Team 3: HEAT Team Team 4: HORAC Alpha Squad Team Team 5: K9 Bravo Squad Team Team 6: Sun Squad Team Team 7: K9 Alpha Squad Team Team 8: Semper Fidelis Team
Bracket B 9: HORAC Bravo 10: Apache 11: STAG 12: MobyDx 13: SD 14: SOCOM 15: F1 16: Delta Force
Attached is the schedule of games. All teams will have equal chances of playing from the 4 starting points and in both Alpha and Bravo Bases. Top 1 teams from both brackets will play for the 1st and 2nd place. Top 2 teams from both brackets will play for 3rd and 4th places. In case of a tie on either bracket, the team with the more number of won games/matches (i.e. successful diffusal of bombs) will have precedence. In case where a team was defaulted, the opposing team will be awarded 100 points for the defaulted game. All players will be required to wear full protective masks for the games (i.e. protection for the eyes, lower part of the face and ears). In lieu of the lower part protection, neoprene mask or equivalent is required. Any player wearing goggles only will NOT be allowed to play. A grievenace committee will be composed of Team OB elders to resolve issues, concerns or complaints. Only the team leader and/or assistant leader will be given the right to file the complaint or concern at the Central/Registration Booth. Resolution of the issue will be handed down prior to signing the score sheet of the involved teams. In case that there will be a need to reset a game, this will be conducted only after all the elimination games have been completed.

NICE games mga sirs. Congrats sa lahat ng nagpakita ng tapang at katatagan sa gitna ng labanan!!!!!!! I agree. wala tayong dapat ikahiya. i know for a fact that we did our best. we put our hearts, souls, blood, sweat and tears yesterday. nag "Level Up" naman tayo sa experience kahapon. nagawa natin yung mga plays na na-practice natin and exposure to other teams capabilities... including the marshalls decisions (ehem?! u know what i mean). we did good yesterday team. till the next tourney. ;D thanks
